Essential Oils

Each week I will highlight different oil and give you a variety of ways you can use it in your day to day life.  This is to help educate you, as the reader in regard to the subject matter that is covered.  These are not provided to diagnose, proscribe, or treat any disease, illness or injured condition of the body. Frankincense

Frankincense is extracted using steam distillation from gum/resin.  It is part of the resinous trees and shrubs family.  (Burseraceae). It has a rich, deep, warm, balsamic, sweet, with incense-like overtones; Intensity: 3.   Blends well with all oils.

Common Primary Uses and Application Methods

Cancer– Can be applied neat (with no dilution) when used topically.  Apply directly on area of concern or to reflex points. Diffuse, or inhale the aroma directly. Place 1-2 drops under tongue, or take in a capsule.

Fibroids, Genital Warts, Improve Vision, Miscarriage (after), Moles, MRSA, Scarring (prevention), Uterus Tissue Regeneration, Virus of Nerves, Warts, Wrinkles– Can be applied neat (with no dilution)  when used topically.  Apply directly on area of concern or to reflex points.

Confusion– Diffuse, or inhale the aroma directly

Alzheimer’s Disease, Aneurysm, Asthma, Balance, Arthritis, Brain (Aging), Brain Injury, Breathing, Concussion, Coughs, Depression, Hepatitis, Immune System Support, Infected Wounds, Inflammation, Liver Cirrhosis, Lou Gehrig’s Disease, Memory, Mental Fatigue, Multiple Sclerosis, Nasal Polyp, Parkinson’s Disease, Plague, Post-Partum Depression, Tumor (Lipoma)– Can be applied neat (with no dilution)  when used topically.  Apply directly on area of concern or to reflex points. Diffuse, or inhale the aroma directly.

Oral Use as a Dietary Supplement: Frankincense oil in general is approved by the FDA (21CFR172.510) for use as a Food Additive (FA) and Flavoring Agent (FL).  Dilute one drop oil in 1 tsp honey or in a 4 0unce beverage.  Not used for children under 6 years old; Use with caution and in greater dilution for children 6 years old and older
